Background

Launched in 1979 by Maurice Benisti, Point Zero’s mission was to create a collection for him and her alike, seeking trend-focused weather functional attire. By 1984, Point Zero was a household name in the Canadian men’s casual wear marketplace, most notably for its iconic outerwear.

Strategy

The target customer is highly active on social media, particularly Instagram, and is highly mobile focused. We implemented a strategy to tap into local influencers to promote the brand and create activity around specific products.

For SEO, it was critical to rank for highly relevant keywords on mens and womens jackets which required laser targeted categories and custom product pages to allow for additional long tail / semantic keywords.

Some of the technical SEO performed included:

  • SSL implementation, site speed improvements.
  • Keyword analysis and mapping
  • Improvements on hierarchy and URL structures
  • A wide outreach campaign on Fashion related blogs to promote the brand and its products through reviews, giveaways etc
